Evie Read Shines at IAC Conference with Forensic Seismology Talk

The Interface Analysis Centre (IAC) at the University of Bristol recently hosted its annual research conference, bringing together a vibrant mix of PhD students from across disciplines to share their work and celebrate innovation.

Among the standout moments of the day was a compelling presentation by Evie Read, a PhD candidate from the School of Earth Sciences. Evie earned the award for Best Oral Presentation for her talk on forensic seismology—an achievement that highlights both her research and her ability to communicate complex science to a broad audience.

Evie is also a member of the Nuclear Threat Reduction Network (NTR-Net), a community of researchers focused on global security. After the event, she reflected on her experience and the significance of her work.
